Jessica achieved her D.Phil. in neurobehavioural genetics from the University of Oxford before undertaking a post-doctoral research position with the Medical Research Council. She then moved into scientific publishing, first working at Spandidos Publications (London) and then moving to Nature Publishing Group (London). Jessica has attended numerous international conferences as a researcher, commissioning editor and a lecturer and has provided seminars and workshops on scientific writing to international students. Jessica joined Insight in 2016 and was made Partner in 2019.

Lucy completed her D.Phil. in immunology at the University of Oxford, and continued her post-doctoral research into exotic infections at the Singapore Immunology Network. Following her editorial training and freelance experience, Lucy founded Insight in 2009 and has since successfully assisted authors in publishing articles and books across diverse scientific fields including oncology, virology, immunology, genetics and embryology. She has spoken at international conferences and delivered effective writing training to scientists from around the globe.

Daniel joined us in December 2020; with his scientific background in gene therapy and fluorescence imaging technologies complimented by extensive experience writing and editing research publications and grant applications

Ilya completed his research training in medical sciences at the University of Toronto and McGill University, where he studied the neurobiology of mood disorders. During this time, he authored original research and review publications across the fields of psychiatry, neuroscience, radiology, health services, and epidemiology, as well as gaining experience in writing and editing grant applications and clinical trial source documents. Looking for a way to combine his joint passions for research and communication, Ilya joined IEL in 2022.
